Why Do We Gain Weight?

In today’s world, weight gain is a natural experience every person must go through with age.    It’s understood by all, when we age it becomes harder to keep that stubborn weight off.    Fat loss and weight loss seem hopeless to achieve from the day you turn 21 and it’s a downhill slope from there!    Most all of us have experienced this trauma in our adult lives one way or another and it royally affects us!  You feel less energetic, sexiness seems foreign, and clothes just do not look the same!  We soon accept that this is the way life is supposed to be.

For starters, diet gurus make a ton of money telling us which new fad diet is the best to follow.    Anytime your body neglects a major food source, like carbs, meats or fruits, your body will receive instantaneous results but in the long run you will gain weight and you will gain fat!    After a person gains back all the weight and fat lost, they are off to the next diet trend, which gives those sneaky diet gurus more money in those deep pockets and leaves you with a never ending whirlwind of weight gain and weight loss.     

As for fitness gurus, how much money have you spent on gym memberships, trainers, the new and improved cardio machines, new abdominal toys, workout tapes, etc.?   Working out does not need to be this complex unless you are training to be the strongest man in the world or miss fitness queen.   Other people make become rich explaining to you the complexities of keeping in shape.  

The single most important reason for success with diet and fitness is your mindset!   You can work-out correctly and you can eat correctly.   A person only needs a little education on each topic and then you can do it on your own.   There is no need to continually pay anyone to help you with these two weight loss and fat loss elements. 

People do not mention sleep as an important element to losing weight often.  I would guess because this does not make anyone money.   Sleep is very important to fat loss, weight loss and muscle gain.   The body must receive adequate rest to grow and evolve.   If you are eating right and working very hard on bulking up your muscles, but still see no difference, try to make an effort to sleep at least 8 hours a day and watch the difference.

Now, for the 4th secret doctors and gurus neglect to tell you, because of the simple issue of money.
